Think the mods need to weed out the folk from down the M65, it’s become tedious on these threads.

I think I'll have a double. We have a young team and an inexperienced manager. Both will.learn.

Do people really think a fairly regular poster for the last 8 years is a Rovers fan?

Sounds more like a disgruntled Burnley fan that’s sick of watching this dross

It’s not daft at all, it’s football.

Ferguson is arguably the best manager this country has ever seen and he used to tell his lads 24 hours after winning the league. Right that’s done now let’s focus on the next.

Last season is completely irrelevant to where we are now

I mean we’re all fed up with, and depressed by, this season’s events but it baffles me how it helps anyone to post an uber-negative rant like that on here. If the OP has indeed been watching us for decades I would have expected maturity to bring a bit more of a sense of perspective.

The OP is entitled to an opinion but given last season and the fact that we are approximately half way through this season his opinion does seem a bit OTT.
There is still a lot to play for, a transfer window approaching, players with talent getting used to the division and a manager who is also learning.
More positives than negatives in my opinion.
I would rename the title - Mission to climb the league.

Fair play to anyone who still has the inclination to argue about BFC this season, either side of the debate. We're absolutely shite and heading for a record low points total. Why not quit with arguments for now and resume in August 2024?

Interesting choice of words you use.

"Putting up with" you have no choice but to put up with it, unless you think complaining on a messageboard is going to change anything.

Your other option is to simply stop going, stop giving them money, hit them in the pocket. Or do you get some sort of extra clarets points/credits for going when you don't enjoy it?

I mean we’re all fed up with, and depressed by, this season’s events but it baffles me how it helps anyone to post an uber-negative rant like that on here. If the OP has indeed been watching us for decades I would have expected maturity to bring a bit more of a sense of perspective.
I think one of the problems that a lot of us have ,and we want to get it off our chests is that over many years we’ve either gradually gone worse or gone better ,but this season compare to last is chalk and cheese ,in the 70’s when we came up we were one of the best teams in the top division ,when we came up with Coyle we weren’t expecting much but were competitive in a lot of the games ,then we came up with Sean and we new it would be tough and we had a siege mentality this years slump hadn’t been on the cards for most people .

So why make a comment about the Op’s age? obviously trying to demean his post.
