Following on from Lyle a reminder that players may have their own issues of which we are unaware. Perhaps a suitable resolution would be to show a little more kindness to all - it goes a long way.

Dwight’s girlfriend lives close to Burnley. Yes, all the best to both of them.

Says she had urgent surgery and lost an organ or two. Suspect this may be an ectopic. Hope all goes well. Cant think of any other urgent op requiring loss of an organ or two in absence of trauma and losing two organs is largely not compatible with life if one thinks about it. Hope this is well overhyped and she is well and fully recovers.

Agree with this wholeheartedly. All of us have things going on in life that affect us in a negative way, we have recent experience of this through this platform. Footballers are people first - just because we pay to watch them is no excuse to be nasty. I hope everything works out for both of them.

Just on top of that its great to see how hes developed into such an articulate individual from the kid that could hardly speak in front of the media when he first came through. Credit has to go to Dyche as well for the way hes helped him develop.

This is sad news indeed. I have ovarian cancer and it’s one of the hardest cancers to treat successfully. She will probably have to have chemotherapy and then it’s just wait and see. I stayed clear for three years so I hope her treatment is even more successful. She has youth on her side which I hope will help her.

I thought it was going to be an ectopic rather than an ovarian tumour. Hope all remains well and it was benign.
