Thought tonight for 90 mins was one of his better games then buggered it up ,but if VK hadn’t have brought Tresor on he wouldn’t have needed to make that cockup.

This debate will last all season ,last week the JT fans were blaming Muric for Tottenham’s goal ,this week the boots on the other foot.

Great shot stopper when nobody is near him, but not strong or big enough when ball comes into a packed 6 yrd box, should have built him up physically before making him our No1. Tonight was a good example because for me it wasn't a foul.

Tresor was a poor sub but it was also JBL who failed to stop the cross coming in.

some of you need to see it again. 100% a foul, he takes a look to see where Trafford is and then blocks him. It's as clear a foul as you will ever see.
And then looks straight to ref to see if he’s got away with it. Truly awful again by the ref and var.

Completely agree with this - his vision and execution both short and long are massive in how we played last year.

Trafford has made minimal mistakes this season but it’s what he doesn’t give us that is hurting us.

This. We cannot play how we want to play with him in the nets. It’s that simple.
To me it's painstakingly obvious. I mean heck, we even had a sample size last week against Spurs.

Proper groundhog day this season, well, either that or the twilight zone.

It only supports the rumour regards Muric and a fallout.

Cant be helping the squad having so many disillusioned players not getting any game time, or even making the match day squad.

If he hadn't embarrassed himself by time-wasting all game and eventually getting on the referees nerves he'd have probably got the foul, then we were in the hands of VAR who don't like going against the refs.

Lying down in his own area in the first half is just embarrassing!

I do have to say his throwing himself to the ground for no reason when picking up the ball in both half’s was pathetic to see.

The repertoire of excuses week by week seems to be more & more inventive & creative excusing the poor results & performances. You can almost predict now with 100% certainty every defeat & draw VAR will be to blame but the odd victories strangely VAR doesn't warrant a mention not in a negative sense anyhow.

If a player barging forward with his back to play blocking the keeper is not obstruction at the very least, something has gone very wrong in the rules.

I’m no lover of over protection for goalkeepers, and I prefer the idea of a more robust attitude in general, but if VAR are not over ruling that then it is time they called it a day. VAR was a great idea, but it has just another layer of bad refereeing through its bonkers implementation.

It’s a foul all day but what an earth is Trafford doing coming so far out to try and catch that ball in 93rd min when we had 3 cbs defending. Traffords biggest strength is shot stopping, let the defenders try and head it away and you stay on the line to save it if they get a header off. I think he showed his age and got to excited after having a good game catching the ball

No Bumba its a foul under their rules, Goalkeepers are over protected and we've had many good disallowed goals for just blowing on them. Its a foul.

Trafford played well and had a good game (notwithstanding his kicking accuracy isn't a patch on Muric's) However having seen the Luton goal live at the ground I was fuming and sure it was a foul. Watching it back now it looks more of a complete cock up by Trafford who has completely misjudged the flight of the ball and runs into the Luton player more than the other way round, unfortunately!!

He may well of done but when you think about decision making did he really need to come for it, already having 3 cbs the and the Luton players, 93rd minute we are putting our trust in officials making the correct decisions when it could of been avoided.

It could of been avoided further up the field if Tresor decided to try and put a foot in

Adebayo is still moving backwards into Trafford when they collide. Trafford is running out to get the ball and Adebayo steps back across and into him in an obvious piece of obstruction. How anyone can possibly blame Trafford for that mystifies me. I do get the argument that he might have been better off staying on his line but it's still a blatant foul.

Got nowhere near the ball realised this and threw himself into the player and onto the floor by the looks of it looking for a foul which was rightly not given.

What a balls up.

All the way home ex players were on the radio say definitely obstruction on Trafford, and were disgusted with the ref and VAR... Even rovers fans saying its a foul, yet I come on here and read rubbish from so called burnley fans trying to blame our player... An all time low has been reached on here tonight.

Why oh why are we letting the VAR make the decision? The screen actually says ‘VAR decision no foul’. We have to give control back to the referee. Tell him to go to monitor and decide.

So you think because he’s 6 foot odd he has the ability to magically pass through the body of someone of similar size who deliberately backs into him? OK then , but I give up.

He doesn't have to get near it for it to be a foul. The player deliberately his progress without making an attempt on the ball. It's a stone wall foul, no debate.

I literally don't understand why some of you bother going to the turf (that's if you do), you can't get any pleasure out of spending 90mins sat in the cold watching an event you literally have no idea about what's going on.

People can moan all they want on here about VAR and injustices but you know deep down it was just absolute pony from Trafford.

All those who were complaining about our tough run of home fixtures earlier in the season now upset because our weak keeper has cost us 2 points against a side they said we’d put to the sword when everything clicks into gear after Christmas….

Embarrassing.

Quite ironic all the fans in the Jimmy Mac & Cricket Field stands giving the ex Rovers goalkeeper grief after Barnes knocked him into the net ,imagine what we’d have said if the Luton guy had hit Trafford like Bashley knocked the Rovers guy into the net last season,Trafford is a wimp amongst keepers.

It was a foul

BUT

He still gets caught between two minds, stutters and then attacks the ball with zero pace and does flop when he meets Adebayo's arse.

Take Muric out of it so it isn't tit-for-tat, say Pope or Heaton - IMO both of them would have timed that better and attacked the ball with everything they had and taken the clattering and would've maybe taken the foul.

It's also **** poor from Ekdal who sh1t out of it from Morris as well.

He had a really good solid game, dealt with everything and played out rapidly, not his fault VAR is corrupt.
