Could it be that the early bird scheme is being scrapped?
In other words, you pay the same whenever you buy a ST?
It honestly wouldn't surprise me.

What’s the legal situation if I just cancel my DD at the bank?
Re: Season tickets next season

If you've made your final payment for this season, and
don't wish to renew, just delete the club as one of your payees.
Job done.

Re: Season tickets next season
The only problem is that my bank doesn’t show BFC on my DD payments,I should probably go down to the ticket office and tell them why I’m not renewing ,I wonder if they’ll do like Sky and offer me a few guaranteed wins,or a discount.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:42 pmIf you've made your final payment for this season, and

No idea ... also they don't feature in my Payees on my account ... If someone does not wish to renew contact yhe club would be my advice ...NorthIsCool wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:45 pmSo, if people don't want to renew, what would the process be?
If the DD doesn't exist anymore, can the club just trigger the restart the day before?

The thing is, if you've made the final payment then it won't featureTheivley Pike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:48 pmThe only problem is that my bank doesn’t show BFC on my DD payments,I should probably go down to the ticket office and tell them why I’m not renewing, I wonder if they’ll do like Sky and offer me a few guaranteed wins,or a discount.
as a "direct debit" for future instances until they reactivate it for renewal.
The timescale ws only introduced to ensure that you would renew your
existing seat - you've always had the right to terminate.
You should be looking into your "payees" along with
all your others (gas, electicity, insurance, Council Tax etc)

than the club.

Re: Season tickets next season
Gone on my list of direct debits too
Re: Season tickets next season
Our payment went out last Monday 4th. I’ve just noticed too that they’ve taken it off our list. No doubt it’ll be back on anytime soon with them setting up a new one.

Re: Season tickets next season
Tbh im minded to not renew my seat on my tod in the Bob Lord, but may well get an Adult + concession one in a cheaper section elsewhere for my brother and nephew or Dad to use when i cant make it over.
Is there any issue with a kid using an over 65 concession ticket? (I know the other way round wouldn't work, however iirc the price bracket for a kids ticket would be lower than an u65 and so i wouldn't expect to be able to do it the other way around).
Anyone done this before?

Re: Season tickets next season
Sent four separate emails to four different people last week, to ask about Early Bird renewals.
Pace, Ball, Hamish Wilson Director of Strategy I believe, and Jack Ormesher the SLO.
Not one has replied with even a courtesy acknowledgement.
Can't say I'm surprised.
Wouldn't surprise me if there is no Early Bird offer this year.

Re: Season tickets next season
I have this situation every match, where the ST is for a Senior, but I have to change 50% of the time at the ticket office for a matchday ticket due to the guys on the Turnstiles not letting my grandson go in on the Senior Ticket. I should be more savvy really and pay for the ticket on a junior and then upgrade to a senior.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 3:19 pmTbh im minded to not renew my seat on my tod in the Bob Lord, but may well get an Adult + concession one in a cheaper section elsewhere for my brother and nephew or Dad to use when i cant make it over.

Is there no legal requirement to give those on direct debit a certain amount of time to decide what they're doing or cancel?

My grandchildren have been on with our senior's
tickets on numerous occasions without a problem
whatsoever. You shouldn't have to upgrade. The only
upgrade we've done is when my sons in law have used
our tickets.

Re: Season tickets next season
Would it kill them to make a universal "Concession" ticket for over 65's and 18-23s? Can't see much downside to thatClaretAL wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 3:39 pmI have this situation every match, where the ST is for a Senior, but I have to change 50% of the time at the ticket office for a matchday ticket due to the guys on the Turnstiles not letting my grandson go in on the Senior Ticket. I am going into ticket Office this week to pick up a Chelski ticket for my mate Andy (who sat next to me after my Brother died) and has moved down to Tonbridge in Kent after his marriage break up ... if we havent heard will be asking about ST's

Re: Season tickets next season
Probably not in this case because each season is a new contract. They can legally, although ti would be stupid commercially, to declare the window for renewing lasts 5 minutes starting at 3 am.

Re: Season tickets next season
We assume they intend to continue to offer Direct Debit. Maybe they like the idea of all the money up front. Someone might need to let them know how Credit Card companies tend to stagger payout for Season Ticket money

Got this reply this morning
Re: Season tickets next season
Just spoken to the ticket office on the phone. Was told the same as Bosscat's email but also that because it's so late, the direct debits will likely be starting in May rather than April for the next season
Re: Season tickets next season
How can it take so long to figure out? Get the feeling a big increase was planned and they've had to row back slightly after having such a dismal season.

Re: Season tickets next season
That no one has replied has become par for the course at our club since Ball assumed responsibility for fan engagement. Someone should have replied to you to acknowledge your email but I don't think anyone at the club should be sending out a response with season ticket information to an individual supporter, they should be telling us all.Rodleydave wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 3:37 pmSent four separate emails to four different people last week, to ask about Early Bird renewals.

That there hasn't been a word as yet shows how little respect those running the club have for supporters - at the very least they should have been trying to offer some explanation for the delay.
And this sort of proves my point. Why have they told AD1995 and not everyone else (nothing personal AD1995)?

Got a question about ticketing then contact the ticket office and not the club chairman and by the looks of it you'll get a response.

So you are a Stewart, Bosscat!
Did you hang around for Peggy?
Are you waiting for the next rising? (Any time soon now, so polish your claymore)
