Subs / Coaches Rumpus?

Post by gawthorpe_view » Sat Mar 16, 2024 7:27 pm

Does anyone know what triggered the falling out in the second half?

JBG was finger pointing at Maupay, a well known gobby wind up merchant.
As JBG isn’t getting much game time he should have kicked him in the b0ll0x for me.

I think it started when players went down near the halfway line after a clash of heads and one of the Brentford back room staff was ranting about it being an elbow, and credit to Franks he look to be giving him a bit of grief when it all settled down.

I’ve never forgiven Maupay for an incident when we were heading for defeat by Brighton about 5 years back.

The whistle had blown for a free kick to Burnley late in the game and he launched the ball over the roof of the BLS. Should’ve been sent off IMO.

Annoying little shoite.

Maupay was also trying to shout over at Bellamy

Maupay could cause a row in an empty phone box. Absolute bell end, and has a face you’d never tire of punching.

Think Maupay pulled Bellamy's ear. Then Jack Cork and JBG and the set piece coach wanted to avenge him. Most success the set piece coach has had all season 😜

A horrible team. They must be thankful for us and Sheffield Utd.

I was told Maupay took an ear bud (air pod, beats headphone, or whatever) from Bellamy’s ear and chucked it into the crowd

I would gladly still be punching Maupay if my knuckles were bleeding.

I didn’t see that but I did see a fan behind the dug out hand something back to the Burnley coaches - so that would solve that mystery.

It’s a wonder it didn’t escalate further than handbags then. Surprised Bellamy didn’t chin him.

Maupay could surely face further action for that?

I think Thomas Frank is a very honest chap.

Maupay seems to have created a new character for himself this season that he is living up to every week. The cynic in me suggests he wants to see his name in the headlines a bit more rather than being known for being a very average premier league footballer

A proper case of "hold me back boys" from Mopey!

JBG ain't big but don't discount the old 'nordic spirit'!

Yet Maupay was on the BBC moaning about trolls the other week. I'm all for catching the idiots who send the death threats, but complaining about abuse when he doesn't mind dishing it out every week himself is a bit rich.
