CSMTAC on YouTube

Post by jedi_master » Mon Mar 18, 2024 7:35 pm

I have been subscribed to this channel on YouTube for quite a few years due to the most random (but hugely appreciated) uploads of mid 90’s Burnley matches and season review videos. As I speak I’m sat having memories pop into my head watching the 96/97 season review that was uploaded today.

I have no idea if the person running this posts on here, but I just wanted to thank them for this channel because it really is a great resource for so much Burnley content that you would think had been lost to the ages.

There's lots of football history around on personal websites, youtube, etc. Sometimes though the provider has to quit for various reasons and the material is often lost.
A case in point was theheavyroller on youtube, lots of footage from the 1950s and 1960s, now completely removed.
Think football clubs, especially the bigger ones, should do more to protect such heritage.
