Interesting reading this thread … I think Eddie Howe made some great signings in Mee Trippier ings and Wade Elliot who shot us into the premier league with a wonder goal .. I know we didn’t get much sale ons for any of these players but they certainly improved our team considerably

Cotterill signed Elliott before the promotion (obviously, or he couldn't have shot us to it :lol:)

Did he ? Oh my mistake .. I presumed Howe signed him
as came from Bournemouth

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a smart arse :)

Cotts brought him and Garreth O'Connor in on frees from Bournemouth. Wade was great business, one of many by Cotterill.

Always remember Stan doing his best to bring in Howe from Bournemouth back in the day too.

Well wade Elliot certainly made my day at Wembley so cotterill wasn’t all bad after all ! 🤣
