Re: Todays Football
At some point I'm gonna look at how many points Newcastle have taken against the top 10, and bottom 10. Because from a brief recollection they seem to have taken lots of points from the top 10, and dropped lots against the bottom 10 (except us)

Re: Todays Football
TNT almost missed second goal by repeatedly showing first goal and the fans reaction
Re: Todays Football
Leeds aren't a very good side.

Re: Todays Football
Excellent defending from Roberts, denying a certain goal for Rovers. Now pinball in the Rovers box. It's not pretty from either side but feels like a goal is brewing.

Re: Todays Football
banter aside, some results for Rovers if they hang on. No way they keep hold of Szmodics (however you spell it)
Re: Todays Football
Pains me to say it but it's a lovely goal. Leeds have been terrible.
Re: Todays Football
Well worked goal tbf. Leeds are completely bottling it.

Re: Todays Football
Should’ve been a peno there.
Re: Todays Football
Southampton must be kicking themselves now with all these points Leeds and Leicester are dropping.
Re: Todays Football
Leeds lose, Rovers stay up - what’s not to like.
It gives us the chance of another double over them next season, and if there really was a football God, perhaps we could win the league against them (again) but this time send them down at the same time!

Re: Todays Football
Southampton can still catch leeds - 3 games in hand and still to play each other.
Re: Todays Football
Tiny consolation that it's Leeds who're falling apart again. But that's Rovers safe now. Although the win against Sunderland was probably the one.

Re: Todays Football
I was quite surprised when no one came in for him in the January window, maybe not a PL club but surely a big team in the Championship could have used his talents.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 2:13 pmbanter aside, some results for Rovers if they hang on. 30 goals now, he's kept them up on his own.

Southampton would be right back in it with a win today but looks like they're bottling it as well.
Re: Todays Football
He would have been absolutely perfect for us in that number 10 role. Instead we got lumbered with Amdouni.
