Re: Today's Games
The commentary was better when it switched away from the BBC and went to whoever it was. Savage is doing my head in.
Re: Today's Games
Great to see Wales taking the lead, they deserved it.
Re: Today's Games
Just seen the goal. As said above, excellent pass and finish. Ramsey's a class player as, of course, is Bale when he's up for it.

Envious of those Welsh fans. Its a great feeling being part of a tiny band of away fans in a hostile ground and your teams winning.

Does Dan James do anything else apart from carry the ball at pace?
His final decision and execution are awful.

Turkey absolutely terrible after I’d said they’d beat Wales. That’s why I don’t bet on football!
That donkey Yilmaz was more of a hindrance than a help and should have been hooked at half time.

Re: Today's Games
Nervy ending for Wales here.
They really should have had this sewn up by 3 or 4 ages ago though.

Re: Today's Games
Great performance in that heat on the edge of Asia, you really need to work hard in those conditions, particularly as it was like an an away game but that's Baku life, Baku reality.

Re: Today's Games
Terrific display by Wales, a deserved victory which should ensure they at least qualify for the last 16 as a minimum.
Aaron Ramsay was awesome at both ends of the park, and he must have been named MOTM after that.
As for the much hyped Turkey were are they, they were thrashed by Italy, and but for some poor finishing Wales would have scored 3 or 4 today.
Gareth is a lucky boy though as that hash of a penalty could have been costly, fortunately for Wales it wasn't in the end.

Re: Today's Games
A suspected car bomb has been discovered close to the Stadio Olimpico ahead of Italy's Euro 2020 clash with Switzerland.
According to reports in Italy, a fan spotted a suspicious item on the seat of a parked Smart car while heading to the stadium and alerted police.
The car was situated in the Piazza Mancini area of the Italian capital Rome, which is close to where Wednesday night's Euro 2020 clash is taking place.
Authorities contacted a bomb squad who destroyed the item in a controlled explosion.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the item was indeed a bomb.

1-0 Italy and this isn't your typical Italian team this lot are genuinely exciting to watch, and they'll take some stopping on this form.

so far they've played 2 of the worst teams in the tournament, not saying they aren't good, just saying we've no idea at this point

Re: Today's Games
They are a good side, a lot of old guard have been phased out I think chiellino is the only 1 I remember, I think they are a few seasoned pros away from being the finished article & this might be a little bit too early for them.
