Dycheisms that you use as your own
I think many of us have been influenced by Dyche, in some way or another in recent years. I was wondering if you had taken on any of his ‘isms’ within your day-to-day living, more than likely through work or family perhaps?
For the last eight years, I’ve used ‘RELENTLESS’ as a key attitude with all of the children I teach. They get it and they demonstrate it daily.

I've been off from work about 6 months now. At first I was on the grass but now I'm touch and go.

I've used "blind man on a galloping horse" several times since I first heard Stan say it.

Yes, “blind man on a galloping horse” from Stan. Also “Is it on the magic lantern?”

I use Stan's quite often - known at the time as Stanglish.
But I used to have a strong jaw until I fell just under two years ago. It's cost me three teeth and it's not quite so strong now. Should be back on the grass soon.

Was interviewed for a new leadership role just recently. I was asked my views on leadership principles, had I done any reading on the subject etc. I quoted a number of Sean’s principles around respect, putting sweat on the shirt, maximum effort etc.

I've used this one on a regular basis since I heard it.
I think Dyche pinched it from Arsene Wenger too.
Incidentally, look how well Arsenal have done since they got rid of Wenger. The grass is much greener at the Emirates now isn't it??

The framework is there - yes, but there is also flexibility within the framework.

Great in the right place but far from it, when you are applying for a job in a laundry!1968claret wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 11:24 amWas interviewed for a new leadership role just recently.
