From our OFFICIAL website, nobody will be refused entry even if you are one of the ones that get pulled there is no requirement to be double jabbed or provide a negative test.

Don’t you have a driving license?Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 9:51 amThe one thing it does say to bring is photo ID.
There's not a chance I'm bringing my passport to a footy game where alcohol will be consumed.

Re: COVID Spot Checks - Premier League
With what Iv just posted above what is the point in the spot checks ? Absolutely useless because they can’t refuse anyone entry.

Fair point. Can’t imagine there’s many of them still knocking around but I may be wrong.Claret Till I Die wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:16 amNot all driving licences are the plastic card type. Some people still have their paper version

Hopefully it may encourage a few more people to get vaccinated.

I’m not sure, but it doesn’t say they can’t refuse entry - just that it is not a requirement to enter the stadium. I interpret that as they can turn people away if they are spot checked and don’t have proof of negative test or vaccine, but not everyone has to prove this to gain entry. Not very well worded though is it.PadihamThickNeck wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:17 amWith what Iv just posted above what is the point in the spot checks ? The negative test is BS, a negative test proves you are negative when the test was taken, 60 seconds after taking the test you could become positive.

That's impressive, only paper ones issued before 2000 are still valid and that's assuming they've never changed address, name, gotten points etcClaret Till I Die wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:16 amNot all driving licences are the plastic card type. Some people still have their paper version

'I wonder how people in Russia and China manage to survive let alone the populations of the former eastern bloc countries. If more people did as they were told we’d have far less problems.
That sounds to me you'd be happy if we lived more like the Chinese and Russians.

As I posted earlier, 2 in my house and they pass all that you've stated. Just had to renew my passport as I had no photo other forms of photo I.D. so maybe not that impressiveGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:35 amThat's impressive, only paper ones issued before 2000 are still valid and that's assuming they've never changed address, name, gotten points etc

It may sound like that to you but I doubt it would to most and it is not what it says. To spell it out no I don’t think we should live like the Chinese and Russians but I think I rules are needed under a pandemic. It’s hardly infringing people’s rights.Murger wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 12:26 pm'I wonder how people in Russia and China manage to survive let alone the populations of the former eastern bloc countries. Re: COVID Spot Checks - Premier League
I've just been asked to participate in a fans' survey outside the Jimmy mac stand by a 'club ambassador'. It turns out it was actually a covid survey. When I pointed out that i'd been double vaccinated, I wasn't asked to show proof, so I don't really know what the point was.
Whilst I was there, I took the opportunity to point out that there was no signage to indicate which was upper or lower tier entrances at the turnstiles.
Hopefully they will pass the message on!

Don't need upper or lower tier signs, the tickets tell you which gate to use.

Nobody checking if I’d had any vaccinations or taken a test today. Seems to be some scaremongering going on

But if you could use any upper or lower tier turnstile then queues would even out and be very small.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 2:42 pmDon't need upper or lower tier signs, the tickets tell you which gate to use.
Like what's happened for the last 25 years.
Re: COVID Spot Checks - Premier League
Try telling that to people in our queue who were lower tier ... perhaps a sign saying Lower / Upper would have helped ... how many newbies actually look at their ticket ....GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 2:42 pmDon't need upper or lower tier signs, the tickets tell you which gate to use.
Obviously not that many judging by the 8 in our queue today who were actually lower tier
