Someone has indeed been filming. I drove past around lunchtime and there were a couple of people, with some professional looking kit, filming the Turf from the Tod Rd junction.

If it's a screen it must be a replacement for the existing one as it's in that corner by the look of it.

There are so many plausible explanations on here, for the appearance of the giant crane, I never cease to be amazed by the knowledge shared on this board.

A new curved screen between Bob Lord + Jimmy Mac was to be in place this November.
Followed by a larger replacement curved screen North Stand/Jimmy Mac corner.

Re: Massive crane at the Turf ?
The new screen is going in the club shop corner, they were doing the brackets and strengthening
work yesterday.
The existing screen will then be replaced with the same type bigger curved screen in the North Stand Jimmy Mac corner.

Re: Massive crane at the Turf ?
I only watched the Spurs game on TV,the light show around the bottom of the Bob Lord stand was very distracting, for those in the longside lower it must be terrible.

Re: Massive crane at the Turf ?
I found it distracting from the Longside Upper but probably will get used to it. The ads on the Bob Lord roof are fine because you don't look at them.

Re: Massive crane at the Turf ?
I really don't like the pitch side ads.
There was one particular one on Wednesday that I kept thinking something was flying across the pitch. It was a pinkish colour ad, ironically I've no idea what it was for.
I know both sets of players are equally affected but it must have some impact upon them too.
