Today's football 24th Oct
Re: Today's football 24th Oct
This is amusing. Prior to today the view was they'd stick with OGS. Surely he'll back sacked within the next 24 hours.

Good job they’ve waited for all the decent managers not to be available.
Steve Bruce?

They could go for Rogers.

Keita off injured after a nasty challenge from the giant ego with blue hair.
Hoping for another couple from the scousers here.

Too many egos at United. One has just been sent off and AF was right about him. Moyes might well.be chuckling now.

Can’t blame Ole - he’s only had £440 million to spend

Let’s face it they have a long journey home to Ireland, Scotland, Oxford or Southampton
Re: Today's football 24th Oct
Absolutely. He’s shown world class ability but it’s been too often punctuated with trouble-making. His agent is a real piece of work too. Can’t be good to have someone like that in a dressing room and on the training field, despite his quality.

Is that all he’s spent?SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 5:58 pmCan’t blame Ole - he’s only had £440 million to spend
Must be £140 million of Sancho and Van De Beek that he’s signed and doesn’t know how to use?
Re: Today's football 24th Oct
They've gone worse trying to fit Ronaldo in. Too many players wanting to attack and not do the dirty work.

it will be interesting to hear Klopp's comments after the game - had Ashley Barnes made that tackle on Keita he'd be asking for a GBH charge

Enough of the United fans left early when we stuffed them 2-0 !

No need to distract the media from a non-performance, from his team, this time though.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 6:07 pmit will be interesting to hear Klopp's comments after the game - had Ashley Barnes made that tackle on Keita he'd be asking for a GBH charge

To be fair to the United fans they are still singing about Oli at the wheel. Good support that when youre getting battered off your rivals

just a reminder, we beat Liverpool at Anfield not so long ago !!

Klopp must want Solskjaer to survive. Liverpool have definitely taken their foot off the gas when they could’ve had ten.

Re: Today's football 24th Oct
Has anyone jumped to Pogba's defence yet? You know, he tackled like that because he's frustrated and he just cares?
AF made his fair share of mistakes at Utd.... getting rid of that individual wasn't one of them. He'd been in the game long enough to know when an ego and it's agent couldnt be managed.

He turns up for a handful of games every six months or so but he’s a rotten apple and I can’t believe they’ve kept him around for so long.bobinho wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 6:21 pmHas anyone jumped to Pogba's defence yet? You know, he tackled like that because he's frustrated and he just cares?

Been busy so, only just looked to see how it went.
Love it!
Such a shame for the bigger of Salford's two league sides, poor dears.

Re: Today's football 24th Oct
The player-rater on the BBC website is something to behold. Obviously still a lot of contributions to come but, at the mo:
De Gea is the only ManU player above 3 on 3.85
lowest are Pogba 1.77 and Maguire 1.92. all the others between 2 & 3.
In contrast Liverpool players range from 7.6 to 9.17 (no prizes for guessing who is at that high point).

He'd have been charging after SD down the tunnel, then suddenly backtracking as Mr Dyche turns round, realising he's out of his depth!Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 6:07 pmit will be interesting to hear Klopp's comments after the game - had Ashley Barnes made that tackle on Keita he'd be asking for a GBH charge

I've been out at a family function this afternoon - were United exceptionally poor or were Liverpool exceptionally good?
Re: Today's football 24th Oct

Liverpool were decent but genuinely didn't need to get out of 1st gear, worst United performance in a very long while.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 7:25 pmI've been out at a family function this afternoon - were United exceptionally poor or were Liverpool exceptionally good?
