Re: Leeds
Genuinely think they could concede 100 this season. Shambles of a team.

Re: Leeds
Assuming they don't mount a comeback, a win today will take us above Everton and Leeds. Could be a defining week in our campaign.Dixie Normous wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 1:06 pm3 down after half an hour . A win for us today puts us above them ?

Re: Leeds
I see that Leeds play at Brentford the last game of the season. The way things are going at the moment it could be a more decisive game that the one we have against Newcastle.

Re: Leeds
Its 4 now plus Dallas missed a great chance. But Spurs could have had about 7 or 8.
Leeds have gone off the cliff and are plummeting down.
Will they pot Bielsa after conceding another 3+

Thing is that Spues have been really sloppy this sw on half too. I'd like to think we would be picking those off against them.

Re: Leeds
They will firm up when Phillips is back but right now they are bottom of the league in form. They aren't used to a relegation fight with a decent finish last seaaon they have a manager who refuses to change his approach and they aren't scoring either.
Their goal difference is -31.
Not down yet and teams below still need to win but the fat ladies headed to St James and Turf have started to pop Elland Rd into the sat nav I think

Re: Leeds
Doubt they'll concede 100, but those 5 today takes it to 60, with still 12 games remaining, so they could well be looking at shipping 80-90 if they don't tighten up back style.Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 12:53 pmGenuinely think they could concede 100 this season. Shambles of a team.

Re: Leeds
Starting to favour Leeds over Brentford as "the one" to take that 18th spot if we can avoid it. Brentford are in free fall, but adding a world class midfielder to your squad is going to help.

I’d be worried if they were getting Big Sam in - I feel the same as you about March. He has no track record in a league of repute whatsoever.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:30 pmJesse March in line to replace him

Re: Leeds
Someone asked about what the loss of Kalvin Phillips has had to Leeds after he got injured against Brentford at home.
Here is the table after that match:
Since then they've played a further eleven matches, getting 7 points but conceding 38 goals in the process at a rate of 3.45 per game

Re: Leeds
It's a shame they didn't stick with Bielsa we don't want a new manager bounce .We want them relegated.
Re: Leeds
Leeds attack a lot and create chances. They did yesterday. But they are then open at the back and yesterday obviously didn't score despite hitting the post twice and conceeded 4. Wrong tatctics against a fast counter attacking side like Spurs.

Re: Leeds
Interestingly some on here have, in the past, demanded that we play in a more attacking manner similar to Leeds.
Whilst Dyche's style won't win any awards, it's generally more effective
Re: Leeds
It was mentioned in the commentary during the game between Leeds and Spurs saying that we simply didn't give Spurs the same space that Leeds did and that teams at the bottom need to be far more pragmatic in their approach, like we are.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 3:45 pmInterestingly some on here have, in the past, demanded that we play in a more attacking manner similar to Leeds.
