Good interview, can’t be easy going from the under 23’s to a Premier League game and having to address the worlds media.
Seems a good bloke.

Seemed a little overawed with the madness he's just unexpectedly been plunged into, but a very polite and personable young man.

Thought he did well.
But I do hate these interviews when you can’t hear the questions.

Cheers beagle
Yep, he did well there, and he did well getting us ready for the game.

Re: Jackson post match interview
Lower league player with brief unsuccessful forays into lower league management so knows football but is unlikely to have been around the personality types we have, including the overseas element which brings a different set of dynamics to handle.
Tough challenge for him therefore but has handled himself well so far.

A long lower league career, and then brief management spells at Shrewsbury and Tranmere.

Impressed me as a player when we played Preston. Always appeared calm in games that were the exact opposite.

Re: Jackson post match interview
I thought he spoke well after the match and I wouldn’t be too disappointed if he was in charge for the next game.
He might even designate a penalty taker after what happened yesterday between Cornet and Rodrigues. Of course MOTD couldn’t help rubbing it in that Rodrigues has an almost faultless penalty taking record

I remember him at Preston and briefly at Blackpool. Decent enough player at that level. Looked like he meant every word of it when he said he wanted to get some food and get home, but did a good job considering the circumstances.

Re: Jackson post match interview
I’d stick with him until the end of the season. Hearing both him and Tarkowski speak, you can tell that they’re on the same wavelength. An outsider would upset the applecart.

I agree. Ben's involved in MJ's team and the lads responded yesterday. Whatever their allegiance to Sean Dyche, they're professionals and they've all seen changes before.dermotdermot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 11:58 amI’d stick with him until the end of the season. I'd leave things as they are.
