No Costello in our team. Assume another seemingly exciting prospect injured?
Re: Burnley v Liverpool - Lancashire Senior Cup Final
He's been on the bench for the first team the past 3 games, think he's with the seniors for the remainder of the season.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 7:41 pmNo Costello in our team. Assume another seemingly exciting prospect injured?

Re: Burnley v Liverpool - Lancashire Senior Cup Final
Liverpool started the better but we’ve just had a chance but keeper denied McGlynn

Re: Burnley v Liverpool - Lancashire Senior Cup Final
I've paid for the (not very good) stream.
The football on show really isn't very good.
Gomez-Mancini probably has had more touches than any other player but little end product.
Thompson looked dangerous on occasions.

Nearly in front. Ball in from Mancini, but defender got in to get it out for a corner.

Mancini just set Tucker up with a great run down the left & cross but Tucker screwed the shot wide.

Must have at one point had big things expected of him. At 13 at Liverpool he already had a sponsorship deal with AdidasClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 9:06 pm75 mins: Trialist on for Helm. The trialist is Seb Thompson from Derby.

Re: Burnley v Liverpool - Lancashire Senior Cup Final
Pick out for Mancini too, that’s the best I’ve seen him.

Yes - he always looked most likely to set things up. Thought the lads grafted really well - we still had a couple of good chances but they held on to the ball much better than us.
No complaints - their 2 centre backs were outstanding I thought both in the air and clever distribution down the wings.
Felt for the catering lady trying to sell off the pies at a pound each with little or no take up when she walked round the ground.

One of those centre backs was Rhys Williams who has played nine Premier League games now, but both were excellent.
