Wach BFC games in NZ
Does anyone know the best platform for watching BFC games in NZ now that we are in the Championship?
I’ve been enjoying Spark Sport for the past few years while exiled in NZ, the $25 per month was a bargain!
I usually watched the games the morning after without knowing the score. (Pretended it was live)
I watched the Huddersfield game on a Sky trial but I’m not sure what package to go for?
Sky Sport? Bein Sport?
Confusing……..
I don’t mind paying, being able to play back the next day is great so I don’t have to watch the games live at 4am!
Any NZ based clarets know what to go for?
Cheers

I've just passed this on to New Zealand Clarets - hopefully they will be able to come back with something for you

Hey Christchurch Claret, (cheers Tony for the heads up)
Best way is going to be through the club website as far as I can see.
Clarets+ International offers all games live and/or demand, aside from the games that will be on sky. I’ve taken some screen shots below which should help you navigate to the right page on the club website.
Only issue here is that the live games on sky won’t be shown as far as I can see, so if we are having a good season, the value per match may go down (the more we are shown on sky)
The way to combat this is to get someone’s Sky Go password and log in when we are on sky- these games are generally on the bein channels as per the Huddersfield game last week!
Are you in touch with Heath, Martin, Dan or any of the Christchurch lot mate?
I’m up in Auckland, but we were locked in last year when you guys had your get together for Norwich game! If not then get in touch!

Aren't those matches all live? or is it possible to watch a recording the next day?

Good point mate- I’m not sure tbh - I would imagine they would be live, and then probably available a couple of days later.
I don’t think there is a perfect solution in fairness!

Re: Wach BFC games in NZ
I'm told if a game is on TV in NZ then you can't watch it via the clarets+ platform
Apparently if you sign up to Sky Sports Now (not via sky, but you still get the sky sports channels), this includes Bein sports. The Huddersfield game was on Sky and the Luton game is on Bein. Watford game also on Sky.
It's $39.99 a month or $399 for a year.
Combine this with the clarets+ platform and you should pretty much get every game. Sounds like quite a lot of Burnley games will be on TV this year so makes the clarets+ deal less valuable

Yeah, that's what I thought - so to watch all our games you'll need to subscribe to both Sky Sports Now and Clarets+ which comes to around $700 per year. Bit of an increase from the $255 we paid for Spark Sport last season

Re: Wach BFC games in NZ
Completely agree mate. That’s why I recommend trying to get a friend with a sky pass.
$700 isn’t cheap. Season ticket prices in a lot of cases (depending on age) are cheaper! Im not complaining and it’s the choice I/ we have made to live overseas, but when you are watching at 2-4am most weeks it’s not that glamorous!
Hoping for a lot of wins and a good season which makes it priceless!
