WBA v Watford
hope it's a tough game for Watford and they get a couple of red cards ! A little unfair on them to play Monday and then again on Friday

The rest of the Championship are playing Tuesday/Saturday or Wednesday/Saturday anyway because it’s the league cup this week.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 7:36 pmhope it's a tough game for Watford and they get a couple of red cards ! Never really understood the problem between breaks effectively you are looking at 3/4 days rest if young lads can’t run around for 90 mins once or twice a week with 15 min breaks & large numbers of the working population graft all hours god sends of all ages 40/50/60 especially & just get on with it.

Dennis and Sarr both starting for Watford, I still think one or both will go this window, but assuming they play Friday they'll be a real handful for our defence.

From what I can tell, nothing imminent with either, so expect both to play. Bad luck on the timing of this fixture.

I hope Muric is watching and doesn’t stray too far out of his box on Friday.

That front three is a country mile the best in the league.
Really surprised they have managed to keep them all

Watford supporting mate of mine said he wouldn’t be bothered at all to lose Sarr. He thinks Dennis is the better player and Pedro better than both.

Karlan Grant should have had a hat-trick. Looks an incredibly limited player.

Re: WBA v Watford
Watford look very open so I suspect we will have a few opportunities, if we have a decent striker in by then it could be a great game.
Watford very much look like a counter attacking team, be interesting to see what team prevails on Friday.

Neither look all that. Grant has a first touch of a man in wellies and Watford look shaky in midfield

Jed Wallace is a brilliant player, Dyche was a big fan wasn’t he ? Didn’t we have a few bids for him ?

Re: WBA v Watford
Been all West Brom this half. Not sure how they’ve not scored, some poor finishing.
Re: WBA v Watford
They're not all that aerially so THB and Taylor is probably the best bet again, Taylor's recovery pace could be key for dealing with their counter attacking threat.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 8:34 pmWatford look very open so I suspect we will have a few opportunities, if we have a decent striker in by then it could be a great game.

Watford’s left hand side has looked the weakest. Wonder if Benson will get the nod on Friday?

Good, I’d like this to be the final result please. I’d like to have at least one prediction right!
