Loved her, seemed a nice lady as well, did really well to battle cancer on and off for 30 years.

Very very sad. I was in love with her when singing "If not for you " on TOTP when I was a 15 year old.

That's two Australian icons in as many days,That wonderful singer Judith Durham passed away on Friday also aged 79.

Yes, her father was a Head-Master, and emigrated to take up a Professorship at the University of Melbourne, when she was 6/7 ...

later in life, just seemed a wonderful lady….
