France almost got relegated from Nations League A last night. This competition is utter crap, scrap it and cut the international breaks.

What a penalty from Gundogan. Calm and composed. World class.
As for Maguire. What do you say to an international level defender who does that.

Penalty aside, I think Pope is showing why he's never been considered as an England regular. Great shot stopper but really poor on the ground. Ramsdale should be nailed on for the No.1 spot in the World Cup.

Just had an enjoyable hour watching Corrie and as soon as I turn over the Germans win a penalty.
From the atmosphere in the stadium looks like I haven't missed a lot

Maguire could not play another minute for United in the lead up to the WC, but you can guarantee he will be the first name on Southgate's team sheet.
On a brighter note, only 5 days until the return of Kompany ball.

Luke Shaw is vindicating Southgate’s decision to play right backs on the left.
This is Sunday league quality defending. Can’t believe how shambolic we are at the back.

Why not just go Toney and Abraham up front for the last half hour? Mount and Saka on who we’ve seen countless times.

You get the sense that behind the scenes everything is falling into place just at the right time and where I could see us maybe faltering at the Quarter Finals im now confident we'll reach the last 4.
I don't think the performance and result on the pitch tonight is that important but it would be nice for the 90k fans to get to give Southgate and his team a positive send off to the World Cup finals.
Big question for me is can Southgate take us from one of the top 4 in the world to actual winners and whilst Im not sure we've quite got the players to win it if anyone can make it happen then Gareth's the man for the job
This must be a fishing attempt and if it is you have caught me. We are terrible and Southgate is a terrible manager.

England are far more blessed going forward than defending, so most logical managers would probably utilise that area of the pitch they're better in. Unless you're Southgate who plays 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders.

Foden - Poor
Kane - Poor
Rice - Poor
James - Poor
Sterling - Poor
Southgate's making good players look really bad with his slow, boring football.

Could get a lot worse if England don't buck up
