Blackburn home tickets
Apologies if this has been mentioned previously and I have missed it but the website has home tickets available for every game other than Blackburn...does anyone know when they will go on general sale?

I was told that their getting the whole cricket feild stand, in the reverse fixture we're getting the whole stand of 8k not sure it's it's ture, but 100% what is true and happening is there will be no restrictions on travel for both games

Re: Blackburn home tickets
For people in the CFS is there a complaint to be made? A season ticket is bought for the season and surely can't be moved when the club decides? Though no doubt there'll be something in the small print explaining this.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:32 pmI was told that their getting the whole cricket feild stand, in the reverse fixture we're getting the whole stand of 8k not sure it's it's ture, but 100% what is happening is there will be no restrictions on travel for both games

Would be interested to know where the CFS ST holders will be moved to. Have you tried to buy tickets for a home game? There are not that many to choose from, certainly not for 2 seats together. Cannot see that happening at all, it is not logistically possible to re home all CFS ST holders.

2000 tickets for Rovers fans I heard. They are keen to give us the whole of the Darwen end in the return fixture as they need the cash!

When this was alluded to earlier this season I thought I’d check with my contact at the ticket office and he hadn’t heard any such rumours. That’s not to say it won’t happen, but that he hadn’t heard of it.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:32 pmI was told that their getting the whole cricket feild stand, in the reverse fixture we're getting the whole stand of 8k not sure it's it's ture, but 100% what is true and happening is there will be no restrictions on travel for both games

Theyve just extended the divide in the middle between fans ready for this fixture. Rows have been taken out already

I was told by a relative who's a police gold match commander and we are getting the full 8k at Ewood and the travel restrictions are 100% not in place, they didn't mention the home game regarding away fans in the cfs, but I've heard from someone else and he's just a friend not a club employee or police so it could be BS that the whole of the CFS is going to be given to them, I bloody hope notSteve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:44 pm2000 tickets for Rovers fans I heard. I never said its 100% its something I've heard, they must of taken the rows out since the last home game because they were still there last home game, personally don't see the point of this if its true, it would be a waste of money just put more police inbeteeen the two sets of fans and sheeting across the seating area

Re: Blackburn home tickets
Must say I’ve hardly ever if at all ?known this happen in the modern era for a league game ?where an end is usually filled by home seasons tickets . In fact it’s the reverse for derbies if anything . I get it if it’s a big ground with poor support like Wigan and they can safely fill it, but no way will they re-locate CFS . As for Ewood it makes more sense as they have 31/32? capacity . The chances of the away game being 3pmAGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 7:01 pmI was told by a relative who's a police gold match commander and we are getting the full 8k at Ewood and the travel restrictions are 100% not in place, they didn't mention the home game regarding away fans in the cfs, but I've heard from someone else and he's just a friend not a club employee or police so it could be BS that the whole of the CFS is going to be given to them

Re: Blackburn home tickets
The Darwen End has 7,800 seats, and United, City etc used to get 7,600, assuming that they blocked off a small number for a bit of segregation. We received 7,000 and sold them all in 2005, so it’d be great if we got that again.
As above though regarding the CFS they’ll get 2,150 ish, which they’re entitled to as 10% of normal capacity. The divide was moved last weekend.

Re: Blackburn home tickets
It's already agreed that PNE are getting the whole CFS, that's the only reason we got 5500 at Deepdale. They moved there season ticket holders for us and give them a letter explaining that it was so they could have the whole CFS in return.
What I don't understand is why the club haven't let ST holders know because you can buy home tickets already for this match so must of auto selected our seats around the ground.
Going off this if we get 8K at Ewood I'd be shocked if they accepted 2100 at the Turf!

Preston have no season ticket holders in that stand so I’m afraid the above isn’t true. They only put home fans in there on odd occasions.bumba wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 7:53 pmIt's already agreed that PNE are getting the whole CFS, that's the only reason we got 5500 at Deepdale. Tickets come out two weeks before kick off however season tickets holders in the CFS will be able to purchase their tickets a week earlier to give them first option of the available seats in the rest of the ground as they are having to move from their normal seatCulvert_for_one wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 8:55 pmA few replies but no one able to answer the original question. If that's a dig at me about us getting 8k at Ewood and the travel that will be unrestricted then when this 100% happens you can publicly apologise on here, I'll tell you something about the travel restrictions being lifted its because it was challenged in court by PNE and Blackpool because they tried to bring it in last season for that fixture and the police lost the right to do so under some human rights act on freedom of movement or something, Burnley fc have never challenged it, that's why its dropped for this game and no other reason even if it all kicks off in Burnley they still won't/can't inforce it

It's the reference to the copper in their post that's aimed at me
Re: Blackburn home tickets
I know its unavoidable, but our away end is vastly unsuitable for these types of fixtures. Imagine our dismay if we received just 2000 tickets for games at say, Wigan, Preston and Blackburn. I'd agree with giving them the whole CFS, but then again my ST is not in there. I'd feel aggrieved if I had to move for one game to accommodate them.

Re: Blackburn home tickets
Nobody gets 8k at Ewood, it doesn't even hold that many. If we get more than the 5k we got last time does anyone really think there won't be any seats blocked off across the front rows.
Preston have no season ticket holders in the Kop, season ticket holders can swop seats to go in there for games.
We aren't giving Preston the full end either

Rovers will get an allocation of 2000 and that's their lot.
Our ground is hardly big enough to accommodate our 1700 season ticket holders in the cricket field stand, to move them would be an head ache and an own goal as the cricket field lot have been brilliant this season in creating a good atmosphere

Re: Blackburn home tickets
Would be mad to give them the full CFS, the only part of the ground where any decent sort of vocal home atmosphere is created.
It'd be, pardon the pun, almost Suicide.

The gap in that picture is a lot better than before Because you could lean over and physically touch an other person you are that close, my season ticket is up against the divide the last seat in the row so I know what it's like, never mind this match for trouble it's been almost every home game this season so it did need changing, but this bigger gap means nothing when it comes to given them 2,000 or 4, 000 in that stand, I hope they don't move us out but like I say I've heard different and not from a copper or anyone connected to the club

Looking at the pictures it doesn't look like rows have been taken out and the away amount of seats are the same amount no less, it looks like the barrier has been moved over to the edge of the away seating area, you can see the old bolt fixing holes in the steps and where the old barrier was

I don't understand why when no seats have been removed, infact because the gap inbetween is wider there is no need for the last row top to bottom of seats to be netted off so they should be at least 50 morecseats on both sides available now

As seen in the games since Blackpool, the netting is just used for standing on and actually makes the situation worse not better.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 4:04 pmI don't understand why when no seats have been removed, infact because the gap inbetween is wider there is no need for the last row top to bottom of seats to be netted off so they should be at least 50 morecseats on both sides available now
