Points From the Sheff U/Rovers/QPR Games?

Post by ElectroClaret » Thu Nov 03, 2022 11:16 pm

I reckon five would be an excellent return, bearing in mind all the teams positions in the table.

I would snap your hand off for 5 points, no matter which order them points came in

We should not think about how many points we could get , just take each game as it comes and enjoy the ride because I never thought in my wildest dreams we would be where we are at this moment in time , so keep backing the lads who are giving everything for the cause.

9 points from those 3 games would put us up to 47 points and
probably about 10 points clear. And still not quite half way through the season!

Can't see that happening so I think 5 points would be fantastic but suspect
we'll lose one of those, draw one and hopefully win one so 4 points for me.

Agree with 5 or more, winning the home game and not losing either of the away games.
I do believe that we are capable of 9 points but as it’s football, anything can happen and I’ll be grateful for any points that we get from these 3 games. I’d be perfectly happy if we are still 5 points ahead of the second placed team after these 3 games.
9 points and the only thing we will have to guard against will be complacency.

A rare win at Bramhall Lane would be nice and Rovers and QPR will I feel will yield 6 points
I would like 9 but away draws coupled with home wins get you promoted .

6pts would be a good haul with 2 wins and a defeat at Sheffield United as we are due a loss

Don't fancy our chances at Bramall Lane tomorrow just feel it's a game too far given how jaded we looked against Rotherham, however as long as we bounce back the following week against Rovers and bag all 3 we can then go into the enforced break on a high.

Definitely our toughest run of the season by a long way, and if we can still boast a healthy lead in the table after those fixtures I'll be happy.

I honestly believe that we can win them all. We have the best team in the league.

I'd take three draws.

I am comfortable dispatching most other sides, so just keeping these teams slightly below us at arms length and with a game less to catch us by drawing would be fine by me.

VK said that he wanted to be in touch with the top 6 by the WC. If we get 1 point from the next 2 games we will be top. I would be very happy with 5 points from the next 3 games

I think we are capable of taking 7 points, given a good run of the ball and decent refereeing. Oh and a bit tighter at the back!!!

If we can still be top after these 3, I’d be very happy. What does that look like, either 3 draws or 4 points should do it. QPR game we should have Twine and Churlinov back in which will be a big boost. Bit concerned about tomorrow given our injuries / fatigue but Sheffield also have a few like that.

At the start of the season I’d have said we’d struggle to get more than a point from theses three games but I’m so impressed with how we’ve played so far I reckon we can get twelve.

I’d like us to get more but I’d settle for three draws. That way it keeps equilibrium in the three teams from the games between us

No it's better to put them to the sword, while we're rocking and rolling.

Toughest game of the season at Sheff U. Extra rest day for them. Very short rest for us. Must win game for them. No Brownhill and prob no Cullen. One or two looked a bit tired last couple of games so a draw would be excellent. Follow that with the usual victory over Woevers and we will be in a great position.

A win against Rovers will see us go into thy e World Cup top and well clear of them, so to be honest I’d take that with defeats either side.

Toughest away game of the season tomorrow imo - won’t say I’ll take a draw, because I do think we have the quality to win, but I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed if we did. Obviously I want to do Rovers big time and I believe we can. QPR as per Sheff Utd. Five and above from those three and we’re laughing.
