Really, where’d you hear that?
Purchased my tickets at the ticket office at 2.00
That's what I was told...

Great - thanks for that.
Heading for a sell out by the looks of things then.

OK, so probably for another thread but I am wondering the best way to travel to OT for the game from Burnley - I don't normally travel from Burnley but this time I am as I am picking the (adult) kids up on the way. I was considering using the tram park and ride from Bury or Whitefield...? thoughts?
The car park at Bury is small and usually full plus you would have the traffic heading into Bury off the M66 to deal with. Radcliffe or Whitefield would probably be better alternatives, bigger car parks, come off at Pilsworth. Or, Abraham Moss, come off at Heaton Park although it is not the best part of North Manchester.

Would recommend Whitefield if you were to choose a place to park and ride - very spacious. Only thing to consider is you'll need to get 2 trams to get over to Trafford Bar, so give it plenty of time. I've never experienced the trams on the way back after a match from Old Trafford, but again might take some time to get on one.

You dont neccessarily need to go to Trafford Bar.
There is a 'newish' line from Cornbrook to the Trafford Centre. If you are going on the tram from Bury or Whitefield go through to Cornbrook, change trams there and get off at Wharfside.
It's only around 5 minutes or so walk from the away turnstiles and much quieter there after the game.

Is that correct? Thought the Bury to Altrincham tram went direct to Trafford bar and Old Trafford?

Last time we went (thurs 8.15pm ko) there weren't any direct trams back to Bury after the game.
But as we got into Piccadilly there was one there waiting to go to Bury.

You’re right, I’d forgotten that! Tells you how long it’s been since I’ve used the tram

No point it only takes you into Victoria. You may as well drive into Town and walk from there

What time did you buy Burnmark?
Don’t think it’ll be going in general sale if we’ve done 4k+ today?

Looking at a photo of the Villa fans in the last round they split the allocation between top and bottom tier.
Wonder which tickets will have been sold first?

Friend was on the Villa game, you can see they got half the top tier and the normal corner+ a little more

I lived in North Manchester for 7 years in the 1960's when I was at grammar school and I can state quite categorically that there isn't and never was 'a best part of North Manchester'. Take a walk from Rochdale Rd. via Collyhurst and down Harpurhey Rd. into Lower Crumpsall where I resided. If you are still not convinced then an extra 15 minutes along Smedley Lane will introduce you to the delights of Cheetham Hill Rd. As Ralph McTell once sang 'I'll show you something to help you change your mind'

Had thought it might be more than that by now. Am a bit surprised that only one third of ST holders have bought so far. Does look like they’ll be going on general sale though.

The time we won 2-0 in early 2020 we only took 2000 fans and tickets were £30 rather than £28 so the fact we confidently expect to sell over 7000 is pretty amazing.

True, although I suspect that was still a sell-out for us as Premier League away allocations tend to be far lower than cup games when the capacity allows.

Think this was because the Club decided to only take a low allocation for fear of having to pay for any unsold tickets if they took the full allocation.

I've just looked at the 6 tickets that I've bought on my friends and family and it looks like they've given me tickets all over the place and not sat together.

I’ve just checked the 5 I’ve bought
If the seat numbers are sequential then I appear to have 2 sets of 2 consecutive seat numbers, 10 seats apart and a single seat 80 seats away

That doesn't work for me doesn't give seat numbers just ticket numbers , 2 tickets, one says seat 3127 the other seat 3207. Bought together on friends and family.

Thanks for the categorical update, I worked at British Gas on Gould St for a few years commuting from Bury, prior to that I was a delivery driver for home express dropping in most M post codes, (only got robbed once) and had the pleasure of teaching FE in Middleton. Have seen plenty round north Manchester / Salford, went out with a girl from Blackley , lived just off Victoria Ave East, took her to a couple of games (she was not impressed). Had a night at the Embassy club too and recently we used to use Blackley Golf Club for work’s training days (can recommend). Anyway, back to the ticket information.

It is under the “seat” heading but maybe your right and it’s the “tickets sold” and not seats as it doesn’t state a block or row
Although not sure why/how they wouldn’t be sequentially within same transaction

We've all got our memories but suffice to say we both survived so That's a good story.
. Didn't mention that my school was across the city in Salford and Salford in the 60's should have its own category too. Anyway, let's get those tickets shifted and give this current team the support it deserves. Have a good day.

Just been down for some and we're in the block next to the normal away corner. Would suggest we've sold the upper tier first?

Can't see that they'll have allocated seats within a booking not next to each other.

Also, whilst non season ticket holders can purchase up to 4 tickets tomorrow, season ticket holders who have already purchased a ticket can purchase up to an additional 3.

I was one of those people, but I have “corrected” myself in that it is in all likelihood the seats sold and not the seat allocated
Still not sure why they wouldn’t be consecutive either though when purchased on same transaction but
