Goals by Rashford and Foden. You've got to hand it to Southgate with his team selection tonight as he's been spot on.
Also got to hand it to KRBFC for schooling box_of_frogs, Murger and Firthy with his superior football knowledge on this thread tonight

Re: England v Wales
Foden making the 1st, and scoring the 2nd after great work by Jane, that's why he has to be in the starting line-up.

Re: England v Wales
who is playing right back for Wales? Wasn't Foden his to pick up?
Re: England v Wales
Bit of patience, knock it around tire em out. If Rashford scores early we're 3 or 4 up by now.Devils_Advocate wrote: βTue Nov 29, 2022 8:13 pmGoals by Rashford and Foden. You've got to hand it to Southgate with his team selection tonight as he's been spot on.

That was a misprint about Rashford .Elizabeth wrote: βTue Nov 29, 2022 8:01 pmThis is so poor from England. The excuse given against USA was that we came up against an athletic team. Wales resembling dustbins with Bale and Ramsay on testimonials. What's the excuse this time ?
Totally uninspiring performance by England and no surprise to many of us. Rashford and Henderson ? Someone's got an agenda with the FA I suspect.
At last something positive to report !

Re: England v Wales
If Foden is ever on the bench again Iβll lose my mind. A joke for him to ever be considered anything but a certain starter. Rashford had a poor first half, but heβs penetrative and definitely adds something to this team. Iβd be tempted to keep it as this all over against Senegal.

Shocking challenge from Ramsey on Henderson definitely worthy of the yellow he received.

Got to say this has been a very professional game from our lads.
Never looked even remotely bothered by this Welsh team.
Could they go all the way?

Iran player, Ramin, just rolling around with full-throated screaming that his leg had been detached at the knee. I was really concerned - it was very audible. A trainer didn't even come on!

Rashford bags his 2nd, but a brilliant team goal by England.
Also England's 100th goal at the WC, Roberts again exposed down the right.

Rice:- constantly calls for the ball then immediately passes ball 5 metre backwards to defenders
Phillips:- gets/ wins the ball and immediately looks for the forward option.
