Sad if it is the family reduced to selling it.

I agree, sentiment aside, I’d want my family to sell mine and enjoy the money

I'll only be 5 minutes walk away from Tennants Auction Rooms on Friday, so if anyone buys it I don't mind popping in to pick it up for you.

You're very kind. Bid up to £200k and I'll give you the cash when I collect the medal.AfloatinClaret wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 3:06 pmI'll only be 5 minutes walk away from Tennants Auction Rooms on Friday, so if anyone buys it I don't mind popping in to pick it up for you.

Re: Leyburn Auctions on Friday
Some trivia about Alan Ball. He was only 21 when he won the World Cup, and along with Peters and Hurst still had not reached double figures in terms of England Caps before the Final.
He was still a Blackpool player at the time and was the last Blackpool player to be capped for England.
I had forgotten how prolific a goal scorer he was for a midfield player. 40 for Blackpool, 66 for Everton and 45 for Arsenal all in the top flight.

He’s arguably MOM if you watch/watched the ‘66 final.
