Re: Season tickets 2023/24
A mate has just said his ST in the lower longside has jumped 15%
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
It's a modest increase considering increasing operational costs and that ST prices have been frozen since 2014/15. And still great value for either Premier League football or 23 championship home matches.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Might need to check some of the prices again - the club removed the article from the site and have now reinstated it so I suspect there might be a change somewhere.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Is this punishment for persistent standing?
Re: Season tickets 2023/24
The cynic in me wonders are they trying to outprice the standing contingent in the lower stand and push them to another stand.
As others have said we've not had an increase for years so I guess it was going to happen at some point and we are likely to be seeing premier league teams again!

Trying to price them out. Wouldn’t surprise me if they allocate more seats in there for corporate soon.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
Interesting you say that, and poses the question as to when Is the cut off date for determing which age range you fall into.
I may be wrong but cannot find it in the season ticket terms and conditions.
At present my son is 17 years old with his birthday in March. If a pay now he’s under 18, but obviously will be 18 at the start of the season.
There’s also an argument Bosscat that supporters who are your age are already over 65, being 65 years and however many days.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I had the same with my son and when I asked the question, it's from when the season kicked off. I do often wonder with the pensionable age going up and at the moment 67 if they start doing the same with Season Tickets. The Hung Juror wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 4:52 pmInteresting you say that, and poses the question as to when Is the cut off date for determing which age range you fall into.

My mates at the far end though and doesn't stand up. It's corporate seating right behind him and to his right hand side.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 4:53 pmI actually asked the question rather tongue-in-cheek, but maybe there's something in it.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
The retirement age has been 66 for a couple of years regarding pensions hasn't it ...
I know I will not get a Government pension till next year ... Retirement and Over 65's season tickets aren't currently linked

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I’ve a 7 year old who has been a CFS season ticket holder for 2 years, loves it in there with the noise and the singing, really getting into the Burnley way. Now no under 12 bracket so price has increased by about 40%. Just seems a bit poor that from the club. Can’t be too many young clarets in there.BigAlClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 3:58 pmMy 18 year old son in CFS has gone from 95 to 145 which is still one of the cheapest tickets in the ground for him but under 18s have jumped to 135 making it one of the most expensive for that group.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
In previous seasons you’ve had to go down to the office to renew a child’s ticket.
Does anybody know if that’s still the case?

Gone up from £415 to £480 in the Longside lower, Not sure what percentage that is but it's a fair old hike in price
