They've not confirmed it yet but the BBC having gone for it suggests this is not just social media speculation

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
A really bad weekend with Everton, Leicester and West Ham all picking up good results. It just wasn't the time to have a bad one.
I don't know why, but Jesse Marsch has always seemed a fraud to me. Nice bloke, but not a football manager. Maybe it's because he's American!!! I don't know, he just doesn't, and never has looked the part.

Unless they are goalkeepers, Americans don't tend to do very well in England; I know there are few exceptions.

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
Which manager worth their salt will want the Leeds gig, transfer window has now shut so whoever does take over will have to work with their existing squad, and on the evidence of the last 2 seasons they aren't very good.
They were fortunate Burnley blew it against Newcastle on the final day, plus Brentford failed to turn up, I'm not as convinced their luck will hold this time.

I have alway had an adverse reaction to him wearing jeans - suit or tracksuit those are the options for a manager. Jeans do not belong in the dugout.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 2:59 pmA really bad weekend with Everton, Leicester and West Ham all picking up good results. Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
It's almost the same every year now.
It's as though every team is waiting for someone to make a move ( Everton ) and then the rest seemingly have to follow.
Thought it was going to be Southampton this morning.
It could just have easily been Rodgers or Moyes.
Incredible. Owners petrified of being relegated.

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
What idiots, VK is not ready for a club of Leeds size and stature this early into is management career. I think a couple more years with us in the Premier League then Leeds might be the perfect next stepping stone on his journey to manage Man City. For now though he needs to learn his trade at a club that is more his level and not try to run before he can walk.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 3:53 pmTwo fools on social media suggested Leeds try to poach VK !

I don't think his post match interview on match of the day helped him. More or less sounded like he hadn't a clue what do with the team.

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
I really think Leeds are in trouble.
Forest are looking full of confidence and I cannot see them going down. No club is 'too good' to go down, but I firmly believe that to be somewhat the case r.e Leicester, Wolves and West Ham. Everton will get out of with Dyche - they have a decent run of fixtures after Liverpool, and even then, you wouldn't back Liverpool as certain winners against Everton at the moment.
Personally can see Leeds going down alongside Bournemouth and Southampton...

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
Forest looked pretty poor yesterday - Leeds just couldn't score. They're not out of it but they're ahead of the curve. I can see Wolves and West Ham pulling clear so likely that Everton or Leeds will join Bournemouth and Southampton.

VK won't be around forever but it's early in the day to be insecure there's no way he's missing out on a promotion on his CV & I reckon at least a season extra to give it a go.

Re: Dyche to Leeds.....
Why, what harm is it doing if people want to leave & the clubs are allowing them to leave, in most cases the clubs/managers will receive compensation it's better to let people come & go than keep people when they are unhappy.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 4:56 pmIf he was a player it wouldn't be allowed - time to bring in a similar rule for managers

VK's project is to answer the question aimed at all top managers. Yes but could they do it at a small club with a small budget, like 'a Burnley'.

I should think not he's only been in tbe job 2 mins not literally not even a fortnight, I meant generally speaking why keep people where they don't want to be IF unhappy I say unhappy because it would be extremely unusual an happy manager wanting to leave.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 6:07 pmDon't think the manager in this case ever said he was unhappy and wanted to leave, unless ive missed something.
