Nope but disappointed that basic ticketing information isn't being given in advance so that people can make their minds up if they want/can afford to go etc!

And there's still no mention of it on the away tickets section of the site! There's still Man City on there but no mention of Reading.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 9:52 amThey've only just confirmed they are going on sale in the last few minutes

When do Reading tickets go on sale
Is it today ?
Re: 2022/23: Reading v Burnley – Ticket Information
I don't know if it's the fault of the TO or our IT/Website providers? But not good either way!Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 9:54 amAgreed, theyve been absolutely useless for ages and show no signs of actually wanting to improve!

That’s pretty rubbish but typical of our ticket office if you’ve already bought them.

I'd suggest that they contact the TO and ask for the correct age category price that they would have purchased if they'd had the option.

I’m not going to this one, but how can the club get something so simple so consistently wrong. It’s baffling.

Owe me £14 for two seniors - my nephew has just phoned telling me he's had to pay £22 for his daughter and it should have been £8.jedi_master wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:13 amLooks like the club owe me £7 for my Dad then (he’s over 65).

They've now got 4 different categories but I've just had to contact them again to tell them that the U12 (£6) option is still missing!

Ticket purchased. My last 2 visits to Reading have both been memorable. 2009 for the "Goodness me, what a goal. From Paterson" and "Thompson takes a swing, oh they've done it again". Still get goosebumps when i watch that. And the last game of 2014 when we had the luxury of a game where we already knew we were promoted in second place and could celebrate accordingly. Made all the more amusing when the Reading fans invaded the pitch thinking they were in the play offs, only for the Forest Brighton result putting paid to that.

To be fair to the ticket office one quick phone call and they have refunded the difference in ticket prices.

To be fair to the ticket office, they really only have one function. And they fail spectacularly to fulfil this function on a regular basis.Burnleydan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:51 amTo be fair to the ticket office one quick phone call and they have refunded the difference in ticket prices.

Re: 2022/23: Reading v Burnley – Ticket Information
The first of those was unbelievably special, the second was as relaxed an afternoon as you would wish at a football match. We just didn't want to leave at the final whistle, the season had been so special it was if we didn't want it to end.Herts Clarets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:37 amTicket purchased. It shouldn't have been necessary to claim a refund.Burnleydan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 10:51 amTo be fair to the ticket office one quick phone call and they have refunded the difference in ticket prices.

Wasn't as relaxing an afternoon for Reading. Re: 2022/23: Reading v Burnley – Ticket Information
No. Sky switched from showing our game to the Forest Brighton game. From memory Brighton needed to win to get in the play offs, which they were doing. The commentary went something like we go from Reading v Burnley, started showing the Forest game and said it has finished 2-2. That would have put Reading in the play offs, but the 2-2 reference was to our game, Brighton were winning 2-1. The Reading fans were all congratulatory when they ran on the pitch until the reality sank in (and there were lines of stewards and Police in front of them) then they came over all brave. One of the blokes i was stood with said they are really aggressive. My response was if they wanted trouble, they had free access to our stand when they ran on the pitch and did nothing but give us thumbs up and applaud us. See what they are like outside the ground. The answer was loads of well done, congratulations and good luck in the Premier League.matttheclaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 12:21 pmWasn't as relaxing an afternoon for Reading. Was a last minute goal from Brighton wasn't it? I'm sure Reading had settled for a point in our game thinking it was enough for the Play OffsHerts Clarets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 12:31 pmNo. Sky switched from showing our game to the Forest Brighton game. They got news from elsewhere, Forest drawing against BrightonI think, that they only needed to hang on for the draw but it was fake news and they missed out. Brighton scored a late winner.matttheclaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 12:21 pmWasn't as relaxing an afternoon for Reading. Didn't they miss out on the play offs in the last minute?

Back to the tickets.
If you switch your adult tickets to any of the concessions then it automatically refunds you.

It was funny. They were giving it the "darts anthem" then realised what had happened. The Burnley fans then started doing the darts anthem:)
