I suspect that just means we've been successfully entered into the ballot.

Same here. Each to their own but I hate that place. Just got our Rotherham tickets - with no fuss at all - and already looking forward to a balmy evening in sunny South Yorkshire.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 9:56 amCan’t argue with that, personally I just hate going there so I’ve not even tried, weirdly it’s just the one game I’d rather miss.
Having said that, if my mates got me a ticket I’ll still go

Well, but you have to remember that when we had the ballot for tickets for the Liverpool game straight after COVID, it said that if you ended up with a ticketthe_magic_rat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:14 amI suspect that just means we've been successfully entered into the ballot.
So it does sound promising

Re: Rovers away tickets
I have 2 different transactions - one from last Thursday which was acknowledgment of my ballot application, and another that has appeared today called ballot successful.

Re: Rovers away tickets
Not sure if it means anything but on my purchase history the 6 I applied for are all listed there with a status of purchased and to collect
Re: Rovers away tickets
How did you apply for 6?claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:44 amNot sure if it means anything but on my purchase history the 6 I applied for are all listed there with a status of purchased and to collect

I though you meant 6 in one application. Mine just says purchased nothing about collecting.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:47 am3 on mine and 3 on one of my lads account all 6 of us have way over the amount of points required and it says the same on both accounts

Re: Rovers away tickets
That implies I have only got one of the three I applied for as only have one listed. I would have expected the other two to be shown too which are for both my lads.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:44 amNot sure if it means anything but on my purchase history the 6 I applied for are all listed there with a status of purchased and to collect

Those that go shouldn't spend a single penny in the ground, leave them paying catering staff that don't sell anything, leave them to throw food and beer away and paying for programmes that haven't been bought, it's a small win but will cost them around 15k

Re: Rovers away tickets
I've lost lost out in the ballot it seems - no email and not showing ballot successful. Applied for four with all four on 11,000 points plus.
Re: Rovers away tickets
Their tickets will show on their account, not yours.Goodclaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 10:58 amThat implies I have only got one of the three I applied for as only have one listed. I would have expected the other two to be shown too which are for both my lads.
Re: Rovers away tickets
I am just short of 6000 points, as all my many away matches, over the years, count for little.
Whilst I understand my chances for this one would be miniscule, even with 6000 points, I resent 2 and 4 tickets going to 1 6000 point earner and continue to feel for all those who support mainly at away matches, who could never achieve 6000 points.
The ladt thing i want to see are people with hardly any recognised support gaining tickets, for such a match.

Re: Rovers away tickets
The club have seriously arsed this up but no one is getting more than one ticket. All people on an application needed 6,000 points, not just one of them.

6k or 12k makes no difference in a ballot

Re: Rovers away tickets
It was obvious that when it went to a ballot that some who have just over 6000 points would get it, and that some with loads more wouldn't
Unless there are changes to how loyalty points accumulate (I've 9520) then the ballot will become the norm when we have restricted away capacity

Re: Rovers away tickets
Personally if I lived in the UK I wouldn't go and I have enough points it's just a way of putting two fingers up at them *******'s and hoping our team put them to the sword. UTC

Re: Rovers away tickets
No it doesn't but a ballot goes against the loyalty system - a system that they clearly report on the club's website will be used for ALL away games and will change in terms of points required for small allocations/big demand etc.
They also had the option of looking at how many away tickets purchased this season.

Re: Rovers away tickets
Points total counted for nothing in this ballot other than you needed 6k plus to enter

Re: Rovers away tickets
Isn’t it called a “Loyalty points system” that we use?
Then the biggest game of the season comes along, and there is no difference between 6,000 & 11,000+ points.
Why didn’t they just start sales at 12,000 reducing daily?

Re: Rovers away tickets
I think we should be directed our ire at the bastards
They go on about wanting to maximise the chances for them winning but are happy to hand out twice as many tickets to Coventry and Norwich, which makes it even more obvious that they just can't handle 7000 clarets celebrating in front of them
Its a massive own goal for them, makes them look absolutely classless and shows they haven't dealt at all well with us being consistently better than them for about a decade

Re: Rovers away tickets
The ballot is a complete farce.
I found out yesterday I have over 8,000 points. The reason I didn't know until yesterday is because I haven't been to an away match since Leeds last season and I was getting a ticket for Rotherham. The idea I could have just cast a stone in for the Rovers game with people who've been to every away this season and people who always go to every away is absolutely ridiculous. They should know exactly how many people have how many points and set thresholds accordingly.

It's two wrongs not making a right. Rovers making a decision out of cowardice doesn't change Burnley making one out of incompetence.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 11:32 amI think we should be directed our ire at the bastards
