Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
It’s lost on some people that don’t realise that it was possible under the old system to have over 6000 points and yet only recently renewed a season ticket due to the points not being cleared down. The new scheme ensures that you need to keep your season ticket and actually attend away games in order to be a priority, which is a good thing.

Stop bringing facts into it. This is a message board for bullying, slander, nonsense and squabbling. Amongst others.Rick_Muller wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 5:07 pmIt’s lost on some people that don’t realise that it was possible under the old system to have over 6000 points and yet only recently renewed a season ticket due to the points not being cleared down. That’s what’s great about this board. All sorts of angry drama and pages of comments about loyalty points.
Tickets go on sale for our first away game back in the big time and they’re on general sale. By all means be furious, just remember to get your ticket too.

If you haven't got a season ticket it's going to be easier getting away tickets than getting on the Turf this year.

Just a shame the ground (Brighton) is nearly in France.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
There seems to be plenty of home tickets popping up for the home matches due to the ticket exchange system so I doubt many will miss out if they can't initially get one.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
We appear to have sold less than half of the allocation. If the Club lose significant money on this, hopefully for future games they won't be tempted to take a low/safe allocation!

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
I’m guessing it’s because of the cup game being so close and only £10 a ticket - putting some people off going again.

Quite probably, plus it's a school day.Rick_Muller wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 6:01 pmI’m guessing it’s because of the cup game being so close and only £10 a ticket - putting some people off going again.

Plenty of time yet. I'll probably end up going but not sorted tickets yet.

The whole thing about people who usually sit together has becoming too complicated now - those groups of people who basically went as a social, and now can't be arsed with the logistics of trying to buy all the seats together. I know a fair few in that of bracket. Not me, bty.

It's quite easy to do if you can purchase tickets in the same priority period. Just put your friends onto your Friends and Family group and then choose seats together from the seating plan.dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 6:35 pmThe whole thing about people who usually sit together has becoming too complicated now - those groups of people who basically went as a social, and now can't be arsed with the logistics of trying to buy all the seats together. If they can't do it on the first day, like they always have, they won't bother.
I assume their places will be taken up by younger, more eager fans- which ultimately is what this is all about.
It ain't me, I travel to away games with Mrs dc.

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
It's just a social event for them. All got ST'S but a range of points with only one on 2000 plus.
They see it as being ousted, so say they won't bother.
I think this was the deliberate intention with the change.

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
I find that really strange that just because they can't get tickets in the 1st priority period, that they then wouldn't bother! Ousted?? What was the supposedly deliberate intention?dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 8:12 pmIt's just a social event for them. All got ST'S but a range of points with only one on 2000 plus.

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
To discourage the older established fans and encourage the younger, more eager ones.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
Because people want to sit together, as they always have done. Those who can buy in the first sales period may not want to take the gamble and wait say 3 sales periods till their mate can buy one.
In the past if you had 6010 points you could buy at the same time as your mate with 13000 points. It now looks like that won't be possible.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
Don't think that there's any intention to discourage anyone, just to even up the playing field to give younger fans a fair chance of getting tickets. For the vast majority of games anyone who wants a ticket (including older fans) will have a chance of getting one.dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 8:53 pmTo discourage the older established fans and encourage the younger, more eager ones.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
That's always been the case when people have points for different priority periods.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
They can't be that bothered about going then. A game like this was never going to sell out quickly, is it really that difficult to wait a few days to buy tickets together?

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
I’d be astounded if the person with 6000+ points didn’t also have 2000+ points especially if they attended plenty of away games.

But on the other side of the coin there will be someone who had 6000+ and their mate had 5000+, who now may both have over 2000.

Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
If I want to go to a big away game in which tickets are going to be difficult to get, I couldn't care less who I'm sat next to as long as I get a ticket. I'll travel with my mates, go to the pub with my mates, see them at half time etc.. if anything I'm glad of the break from them on the match
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
The overall picture hasn't changed though, it's just different people in that top bracket.Nori1958 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 8:57 pmBecause people want to sit together, as they always have done. In fact, given that there used to be lots of parents in the top brackets with children in lower brackets, it is possible there are fewer people with that dilemma now.

Did you simply ring up to get this checked? I emailed the ticket office about this and they've checked mine and all my friends and family loyalty points and we all go 10 points for the Olympiakos game. They checked some other numbers too and all of them had 10 too so I think mine are now going to be stuck at 10.Big Vinny K wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 10:38 amLoads of people still have the incorrect number of loyalty points.
Not surprisingly the ticket office have made a lot of manual adjustments and have been pretty inconsistent with how they have applied these.
For example - the Olympiakos home game. Some fans been allocated 50 points and others 10 points. I rang the club shop and they said they would increase my points by 40 points as this game was only showing as 10. I checked a few days later and they had increased it by 70 points !!
I know someone where they had missed off a full seaon ticket of points and they adjusted it when he rang up.
Worth checking your loyalty point calculation / breakdown and ringing up if you think it’s wrong.

Yep I rang up. I had details of someone else who got 50 points for the Olympiakos game and they checked his account first and then said they would adjust mine.Jjjack wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 10:54 amDid you simply ring up to get this checked? I think they change their mind as to what they are doing depending what day it is and who you get on the phone.
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
Makes sense, they haven't seen anybody with 50 points and I don't know anybody that got 50 for some reason so nevermind.Big Vinny K wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 11:28 amYep I rang up. Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information
There’s a few people on here mentioned they got 50 points for that game.
They are making stuff up if they are saying they haven’t seen anyone with 50 points. The person I spoke to went to check this with their manager so they must be aware of this.
Tbf but for the fact that I was on 1,990 points and thought this would be under the threshold for some games I would not have bothered contacting them as it’s always hard work. They even got my adjustment wrong and gave me extra points !!
Re: 2023/24: Nottingham Forest v Burnley – Ticket Information

Great effort.
Trying to navigate motorways in the midlands, during the week is horrendous.
Hopefully the Clarets have a better journey this time.
